OnHand ranks #29 in Deloitte Tech Fast 50 2025
OnHand has secured a position on the 2025 Deloitte Technology Fast 50 UK list. Placing at number 29, and placing 3rd overall for fastest-growing sustainability tech companies, this achievement highlights our business success and growth alongside previous winners including Deliveroo, Just Eat, and Revolut.
The emerging trend towards responsible business continues to grow in significance. We’ve seen this through the rise of wellbeing at work, the B Corp movement, public dissemination of impact reports, boards and shareholders demanding greater transparency, and consumer and employee expectations of how their chosen brands and employers will behave.
OnHand sits at the centre of the 3 core converging trends: employee engagement; responsible business; and social & environmental needs. The desire for companies, customers and employees to deliver social impact and sustainability action that’s aligned to their corporate social responsibility has never been stronger.
OnHand solves this need, bringing these 3 trends together under one platform. With OnHand, social impact and sustainability action is kept close to the employees’ location or is done remotely. Opportunities are ‘micro’, meaning they fit into any schedule. Crucially, doing good with us is on-demand, so employees can instantly find opportunities to volunteer.
Across 2024, employees using OnHand completed 2.7 million actions helping people and the planet. Our OnHanders spent 167 total days helping their local communities, spent 16,440 minutes on befriending calls, and made 15,135 financial donations to charitable causes.
Not only this, but through local charity shop donations, OnHanders donated 30,000 items to charity. For local food banks, OnHand volunteers donated £20,900 worth of donations, which helped over 1,000 families in their communities.
As for sustainability impact, our volunteers completed 161,019 environmental pledges to reduce their CO2e – in total, they reduced 1.5 million metric tonnes of CO2e through lifestyle changes and commitments. They removed 320 tonnes of litter from beaches. And, to top it all off, OnHanders facilitated the planting of more than 950,000 trees in 2024 alone through completing missions and pledges.
OnHand’s vision is to become the world’s leading impact platform, delivering over 1 billion impact actions across the globe, with new wins in 2025 including global brands such as Abercrombie & Fitch, HUGO BOSS, Dentsu, and Natwest.
OnHand also launched our 2025 Impact Awards this year to celebrate volunteering, CSR, and sustainability, platforming the good that other organisations are doing. With categories including Best Employee Engagement Strategy, Volunteering Excellence, Sustainability Champion, and Impact Leader of the year, the Impact Awards have sparked meaningful conversation around so many key areas of CSR. In our first year, shortlisted organisations include household names like EY, Faith in Nature, Equifax, Wickes, and more.
In December 2023, for the first time, we beat out all CSR tech competitors in Performance, Leadership and Customer Satisfaction in G2's Winter 2024 report. Since the Winter report, we have maintained our leadership position through 2025. We also became a certified B Corp at the beginning of 2024, and continue to uphold our position as a trusted CSR platform bringing good to the world.
We’ve come a long way since establishing OnHand in 2019, with the help of charities like the British Red Cross, the RSPCA, and Macmillan Cancer Support. What originally began as a means to provide support for older and isolated people in our local communities (through shop drops, prescription pick-ups, and companionship sessions) grew into the OnHand we are today.
