How group volunteering works
When you partner with OnHand, you can purchase group volunteering credits. You can exchange these credits for group volunteering opportunities.
Our team will match you with a group volunteering opportunity based on the following information you provide us around your availability, location, team size, half- or full-day, and what type of volunteering you’re interested in.
For UK volunteering, we require 6 weeks’ notice to organise your volunteering to the best of our ability. For volunteering outside the UK, we require 8 weeks’ notice.

How credits work
OnHand offers 3 types of Group Volunteering credits:
Essential: In-office activities e.g. card making, letter writing
Impact: Half-day charity event e.g. community garden, food bank
Leader: Full-day charity event e.g. skills-based volunteering, kit creation
Each credit represents one person attending. So, if you’re booking a half-day event for 10 people, you’ll need to use 10 Impact Credits.
