Do More Miles - World Cup Edition

Move more this May with Do More Miles – our virtual charity fitness and wellbeing challenge – as we tour the world’s World Cup locations together!
We’re setting off on a global journey inspired by the upcoming World Cup, and every kilometre logged moves us further along the route. Choose your challenge distance then walk, run, cycle or wheel your way throughout May to complete it and earn a Do More Together medal. We’ve also built in optional fundraising to make it easy for you to support a local cause and help us do more for our communities.

The Tour 21 2027

The Tour de France is returning to British soil in 2027, for the first time in The Tour 21 history, the team of amateur riders will begin their 3,500km journey on UK roads, taking on the full professional route just one week ahead of the professionals." Limited free places available for Flutter colleagues to cycle four, seven or all 21 stages.

Volunteer with St John Rescue Corps (SJRC)

Charity: St John Rescue Corps Malta
St John Rescue Corps (SJRC) is a support civil defence unit – part of St John Association Malta – consisting of adult volunteers who are fully trained in rescue and first aid. SJRC has volunteering opportunities for everyone; from firefighting, high-angle rescue, and beach lifesaving services, to helping ‘behind the scenes’ in various areas (e.g. public relations, fundraising, logistics, ICT, and administrative duties). SJRC volunteers get free access to a wide range of rescue training courses.

As a volunteer, you could help organise stock, and build weekly food packs at the warehouse in Malta. You can also hand out food packs to clients in various Pick Up Points across the island on a designated day/time.

Hospice Malta’s primary role was to provide and promote palliative care for persons suffering from end-of-life cancer and motor neuron disease. They are always loking for volunteers who can help out at the Day Therapy Unit with activities such as baking, preparing and serving refreshments, helping with crafts and other activities.

Richmond Foundation offers all-round support to anyone experiencing mental health problems, and the people who live and work with them. They’re determined to stamp out stigma through education and the promotion of mental wellbeing. Their goal is to ensure that those living with mental health problems live fulfilling lives in a community that accepts and understands them. Help Richmond Foundation support people experiencing mental illness by volunteering for a more hands-on type of help.
Walk dogs at Noah's Ark Dog Sanctuary

Charity: Noah's Ark Dog Sanctuary
Noah's Ark Dog Sanctuary is a rescue centre based in Mellieha. The sanctuary has many dogs in their care and, with the help of volunteers, they work tirelessly to train, settle, and rehome them with their forever families. The Majority of their dogs are either strays, saved from the unimaginable or brought in from loving homes when there’s been a change of circumstance. They are only a small team so all help is appreciated, they are always in need of support!

SPARK15’s mission is to provide the necessary information, education and training to refugee youth and undertake other actions for their successful integration into Maltese society. Spark15 is constantly looking for volunteers and interns who are willing to work with a diverse group of people in helping the refugee youth in the Maltese islands.

Charity: Blue Door Education
Blue Door Education provides free literacy, language, and life-skill classes, in person and online, for adult refugees and asylum seekers, and adult migrants with a social worker referral. Education enables upward social mobility, and additional skills can lead to higher income, better access to nutritious food, sanitation, healthcare, and accommodation. Their hands-on linguistic first aid and practical skills courses help refugees and asylum seekers rebuild their lives in their new host country

Duties may also include cleaning, laying out new bedding, giving medicines and taking dogs to the vets.

A panel with CSR representative from different Gaming companies and NGOs will talk about the involvement of gaming companies in the CSR field in Malta. How they can make meaningful contribution, create impact, engage with their staff and from the NGO point of view how they can reach out to gaming companies and build long lasting relationships. There will be one "featured NGO presenting a project" and then Q&A session
