Do More Miles - World Cup Edition

Move more this May with Do More Miles – our virtual charity fitness and wellbeing challenge – as we tour the world’s World Cup locations together!

We’re setting off on a global journey inspired by the upcoming World Cup, and every kilometre logged moves us further along the route. Choose your challenge distance then walk, run, cycle or wheel your way throughout May to complete it and earn a Do More Together medal. We’ve also built in optional fundraising to make it easy for you to support a local cause and help us do more for our communities.

Run For a Cure

Charity: Cure Leukaemia

From world class marathons and half marathons to local 5ks, we’ve got places all over the world up for grabs in aid of Cure Leukaemia. Every step you take helps fund specialist nurses and expand global clinical trial networks that transform more lives every year. Join Team Flutter and Run for a Cure.

London2Paris 2027

The Tour 21 2027

Have you got what it takes to ride one of the world’s most iconic cycling challenges?

The Tour de France is returning to British soil in 2027, for the first time in The Tour 21 history, the team of amateur riders will begin their 3,500km journey on UK roads, taking on the full professional route just one week ahead of the professionals." Also add at the bottom. "For the closest experience to a pro-cycling team that you will find, register your interest for the 2027 team. Limited free places available for Flutter colleagues to cycle four, seven or all 21 stages.

Dog walking volunteer for ManxSPCA

Where: Ard Jerkyll, East Foxdale, Isle of Man IM4 3HL, Isle of Man

Charity: ManxSPCA Volunteer

The ManxSPCA is an animal welfare charity on the Isle of Man dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming animals in need while promoting responsible pet ownership. Dog walking is great fun and much cheaper than the gym!

Volunteer with the Isle of Man Food Bank

Charity: Isle of Man Food Bank

The Isle of Man Food Bank is a charitable organisation that provides essential food and support to individuals and families in need across the Isle of Man. There are many ways you can help out, whether you would like to volunteer as a driver, sort donations and stock manage, or even help with special events.

Noble's Hospital

Where: Noble's Hospital, Strang IM4 4RJ, Isle of Man

Charity: Isle of Man Government

Would you like to offer your support to Noble's Hospital? There are a diverse range of volunteering positions to suit a wide range of skills, from garden assistants to the tea trolley. If you have a few hours a week to spare, enjoying working with people and want to support the community, then find out more below.

Shop Volunteer for Manx Wildlife Trust

Where: 7-8 Market Place, Peel IM5 1AB, Isle of Man

Charity: Manx Wildlife Trust

The shop is situated on the ground floor of the Manx Wildlife Trust offices and is operated entirely by volunteers. Volunteers receive training and guidance before being allowed to work behind the counter. Opening hours are Monday through Saturday, 10:30am—5:00pm, and Sunday, 1pm—4:30pm.

Isle of Man Blood Transfusion Service

Where: Isle of Man

Charity: Isle of Man Government

The Isle of Man Blood Transfusion Service (IOMBTS) is the specialist provider of safe, high quality blood products and services on the Isle of Man.Most people can give blood. If you are generally in good health, between the ages of 17 and 70 (65 for your first donation) and weigh at least 7 stone 12 lbs (50kg), you could start giving blood.

Become a Water Safety Volunteer

Where: Isle of Man

Charity: RNLI

The RNLI is the largest of the lifeboat services operating around the coasts of the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, the Channel Islands, and the Isle of Man, as well as on some inland waterways. As a Water Safety Volunteer, you can help make sure everyone gets to go home safely through education and water safety advice.

Volunteer at the Home of Rest for Old Horses

Where: Bulrhenney, Richmond Hill, Douglas IM4 2HJ, Isle of Man

Charity: Home of Rest for Old Horses

Home of Rest for Old Horses provides a sanctuary and peaceful retirement home for old or injured horses, ponies, and donkeys at the end of their working lives. Volunteers make a very valuable contribution to their work at the Home of Rest, which is both a working farm and one of the Island’s major visitor attractions. Volunteering provides a great way to meet new people, engage with visitors to the Island, and enjoy being part of a charitable organisation.

Lifelong Learning Volunteers with Age Concern

Where: Isle of Man

Charity: Age Concern Isle of Man

Age Concern Isle of Man exists to improve health and well-being in later life, provide support to older people at times of need, make older people’s voices heard, build a positive attitude to older people in society and make the island a great place to grow old. Become a digital champion - share your computer knowledge and skills to help more older people learn basic computer skills, and build confidence using email, social media or Skype to stay in touch with family and friends.

Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital

Where: Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital, Cumberland Road, IM8 3RH, Isle of Man

Charity: Isle of Man Government

Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital runs a volunteering scheme within the hospital. With over 20 volunteers, the scheme provides services from serving refreshments to inpatients on the ward to a friendly smile.Volunteers must complete an application form and meet with the Nurse Co-ordinator, as well as undergo training and a police check before volunteering can begin. Volunteers must also provide a personal referee and attend a medical screening to ensure their safety.
