Team volunteering day with Cynthia Spencer

Task Type: Team Mission

Charity: Cynthia Spencer

Book in a team day with Cynthia Spencer, a hospice that provides care to patients with a life-limiting illness. We also support patients' loved ones and those who support them across West Northamptonshire. The team could be helping with their grounds (gardening), supporting their wellbeing groups or helping out at their retail hub.

Charity: The Bread and Butter Thing

Book in a team day with The Bread and Butter Thing, a charity that builds bridges out of food deserts, bringing nutritious, affordable food to the centre of the UK’s most deprived communities and nourish them. The team can support their warehouses, helping to date check and consolidate stock.

Nature Force volunteer with Warwickshire Wildlife Trust

Task Type: Community Gardening

Charity: Warwickshire Wildlife Trust

Join this midweek team and take part in a variety of hands-on tasks maintaining the Trust's nature reserves in Warwickshire, Coventry and Solihull.

Share you own career journey along with any curveballs along the way, share top tips with young people for moving from the world of education into the world of work, share employer expectations, provide an insight into the variety of roles available in the sector the volunteer works in, be willing to answer questions posed by the young people.

Become a Tamworth Street Angel

Task Type: Group Club Support

Charity: Tamworth Street Angel

We are looking for volunteers to be part of our team on Friday and Saturday nights. Whilst out and about the team is in direct contact with Townsafe via a radio system. We operate all year round on a rota basis, and it is up to each individual how often they volunteer. First aid training is provided. Above all, Street Angels is fun and a hugely rewarding experience, allowing volunteers to make a valuable contribution to the local community and night time economy.

Retail Support for The Midlands Air Ambulance Charity

Charity: The Midlands Air Ambulance Charity

The Midlands Air Ambulance Charity is a charity operating a Helicopter Emergency Medical Service in Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Worcestershire and the West Midlands. They are always looking for volunteers to help out in their busy shops and can offer a flexible working environment and valuable work experience. Whether it's five days a week or a few hours a month, your time really could help to save lives across the Midlands.

Charity: Give Blood

Pet Care for The Cinnamon Trust

Task Type: Supporting Animals

Charity: The Cinnamon Trust

The Cinnamon Trust is a charity for the elderly, the terminally ill and their pets. They are always looking for short-term dog walkers and fosterers across the whole of the UK who would be prepared to look after a pet when their owner is in hospital. If you would like to become a fosterer, please register as a volunteer.

Community Connector for Carers UK

Task Type: Support Causes Remotely

Charity: Carers UK

Carers UK is the leading national charity for unpaid carers. We support, advocate for, champion and connect carers across the UK, so that no one has to care alone. As a volunteer, we will help you to use your skills to help carers get the support and guidance they need. A Community Connector helps Carers UK connect with carers and promote awareness of caring by distributing publicity material – such as leaflets and posters – within local communities.
