Gardeners Needed for Friends of Green Spaces

Friends of Green Spaces is committed to continuously enhancing community gardens to provide residents with even more opportunities to enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of nature. They are looking for volunteers to help them maintain their community garden, which is part of 3 gardens in the Verschoyle Complex. Tasks include planting, sowing, weeding, watering, cleaning and painting. No experience is necessary and all skill levels are welcome.
Food Drop for Little Flower (Meals on Wheels)

Description:
Little Flower is a non-profit organisation that has been assisting anyone in need in the Liberties area of Dublin for over a century. Meals on Wheels is a service that delivers meals to the homes of people who may struggle to leave their houses or cannot necessarily travel the distance to the lunch service which is served every weekday at noon. As a volunteer, you will be able to deliver meals with their van or assist the delivery driver with bringing meals to people.

Charity: The Cat & Dog Protection Association
Description:
The Cat & Dog Protection Association of Ireland is an animal charity dedicated to reducing the suffering of cats and dogs in Ireland through our rescue, fostering and Trap-Neuter-Return, community outreach and welfare programmes. As a Foster Kitty Visitor, you will visit fosterers in their homes to assess kitties that are not improving or fosters who need guidance.
Charity Shop Volunteer for FOTEI

Description:
Friends of the Elderly is an Irish volunteer based charity established in 1980 to bring friendship and companionship to older people living alone or who feel lonely. Friends of the Elderly run a charity shop Ritzy Rags at 25 Bolton Street Dublin 1, which provides much-needed financial support for them. The shop is staffed with volunteers working 4-hour shifts in pairs of two, during the opening hours of 9 am – 5 pm, Monday-Saturday.

Crosscare has hundreds of wonderful volunteers involved in their various services, and they welcome applications for different volunteer roles. they truly value their volunteers’ input as they feel they provide a unique and vital link between our service users and the wider community. Without the valuable assistance of their volunteers, we would not be able to provide such a high standard of service to their service users.
Walking Group Volunteer with Making Connections

Description:
Making Connections’ mission is to alleviate loneliness and isolation by providing Befriending and Wellbeing Supports that empower people to stay healthy and socially connected. They run a walking group on Wednesdays in Churchtown and are looking for volunteers to support the group with ensuring the safety of participants, encouraging social interactions and making sure each session runs smoothly.
