Food Prep at FoodCycle Quinton

Description:
FoodCycle volunteers are welcoming and committed people who want to create delicious meals and lasting relationships within their community. As a Cooking Volunteer, you’ll support the team in creating recipe ideas, help with the preparation of food and the cooking of the meal. You’ll be supported by a FoodCycle Project Leader, who will help make sure the session goes smoothly and is there for any questions you might have, so you don’t have to be a chef to get involved!

Gardening Volunteer at Digbeth Community Garden

The Custard Factory runs an urban garden project that focuses on local food production, sustainability, and community engagement. On the first and third Saturday of each month they have their workdays. On workdays they are open between 11 and 4pm. People can join at whatever time suits them and take some produce home with them.

Volunteer Driver with Fare Share Birmingham

Its mission is to fight hunger and reduce food waste across the region. By being a consistent and supportive person in their life and helping them build trust, you can help someone reach their potential.
