The North Atlantic right whale is one of the most critically endangered animals in the world, with fewer than 360 individuals remaining in the population, of which only 70 are reproductive females. Since 2017, a staggering 98 right whales have died or been seriously injured in U.S. and Canadian waters. IFAW are are calling on federal agencies in the U.S. and Canada to advance and strengthen North Atlantic right whale protective measures and save this dying population.

Charity: HOT Tasking Manager

Join a global community that is mapping the places most vulnerable to disaster and poverty in order to support humanitarian aid and sustainable development across the world. Each year, disasters around the world kill nearly 100,000 and affect or displace 200 million people. Mapping can help change this. Organizations like the Red Cross use Tasking Manager to create mapping projects for areas around the world where data is needed to help save or improve lives.

Yet, they lack the time to listen to all of the data. This is where you come in…In just three minutes help marine biologists in their bioacoustics Ocean regeneration work - attempting to bring life back to damaged corals. Listen to a healthy coral reef and compare it to the sounds of an unhealthy reef .

Solo Eco Clean!

Choose a route/area where you know you can make a big impact, and spend an hour or 2 (or longer!) collecting litter. Please make sure to dispose of the litter near a bin/somewhere you know it will be collected.

Charity: Love For Our Elders

Everyone deserves a mailbox full of love letters, and Love For Your Elders are on a mission to make that happen– they've sent 500,000 letters of love around the world. So take a few minutes, sit down, and write a letter. Tell them about yourself, maybe share a joke or a riddle and let them know that they are loved. When you accept this mission a link below will appear which will show you the letter requests for that month. They have guidelines on what the letter should and shouldn't include.

Charity: 10,000 Interns Foundation

10,000 Black Interns is a non-profit that provides support, education, and a safety net for Black students who want to break into work industries. Sanjay chats with 10,000 Black Interns co-founder Michael Barrington-Hibbert about industry barriers, learning leeways, and how they’ve helped Black students land 6,000 paid internships so far.

Graphic Design / Web Design Support for IMAS

Task Type: Skills-based (Remote)

Charity: International Mixed Ability Sports (IMAS)

International Mixed Ability Sports (IMAS) breaks down barriers and creates safe inclusive environments for those facing obstacles to participation – including people with physical and learning disabilities – to take part in sports as equals alongside non-disabled participants. Flutter is on a mission to help IMAS grow their presence globally, promoting more inclusive sports and helping those facing barriers to access the sports they love. The latest opportunity requires someone with Graphic Design/Web Design experience.

Muckle Team: Become an E-Mentor

Task Type: Mentoring (Remote)

Task Type: The Social Mobility Foundation

The Social Mobility Foundation (SMF) is a charity that aims to make a practical improvement in social mobility for high-achieving young people from low-income background. As an e-mentor you would support a sixth former by giving them the opportunity to have a 1:1 relationship with a professional in their chosen career sector who can communicate with them via email at least every two weeks.
